Amen! An album I'll never fully know but know it's better than 99.99% of any album ever made.

Skeletal Lamping is the album I tell people to listen to if they really want to know what goes on inside my head. I feel that SL ‘represents’ me in a way no other piece of music does. Not sure what this says about me...

the transitions (or lack of them) in SL always get to me. in addition to like typical of Montreal painful lyrics + jangly melody business. that being said, i once told kevin something about how healing it was to have listened to skeletal lamping as an isolated and depressed teenager and he tried really hard not to laugh lolll.

    ha, what a story Mark.

I wonder what he thinks of SL. Probably 5.9 and how that doomed him.

i think the worst part about skeletal lamping is that the vinyl has touched something's hollow and an eluardian instance on separate sides so you don't get that glorious tone change

I blame SL and that entire promotion cycle for making me gay and okay with it
You've got a real problem, alright. And a banjo is the only answer.

You know what, Skeletal Lamping was The Matrix 1, and then everything up through Aureate Gloom was The Matrix 2 and I was going along with it, but the last couple of albums were The Matrix 3 and now I'm just going to pretend only The Matrix 1 exists.

i just saw a setlist and it's majority WIR and SL, so it's a very To Be Or Not To Be situation happening
