Figured I'd give every era a listing because my favourite songs depend on my mood - otherwise I'd throw way more way more Hissing Fauna in there:

    Montreal
    My Favorite Boxer
    Penelope
    Jennifer Louise
    So Begins Our Alabee
I Was a Landscape in Your Dream - the Grizzly Bear remix really made me appreciate it more
We Were Born the Mutants Again with Leafling
    No Conclusion
    Nonpareil of Favor
Id Engager (first song I heard by them)
    You Do Mutilate?
    We Will Commit Wolf Murder
    Wintered Debts
Feminine Effects (that Deerhoof split single version thing)
    Dolores Street Rates
    Monolithic Egress

Re: Arpeggiating being his best song in ages - I completely agree with this. Not only do I completely agree with this, but it fills me with hope that he sings it in such a low key. I remember stumbling on some thread in these forums a while back that was discussing live performances, and there was some kind of consensus that as Kevin is aging, he is somewhat losing a bit of his upper range as he returns to old classics in live performances. Chaos Arpeggiating's excellence fills me with hope that we can expect a new era of absolutely wonderfully written songs no matter where Kevin's "home range" is.

Very nice list, too. I actually rather like this one as a playlist. I think that listening to Past, Conclusion, and Strutter back to back to back are really nice contrasts.

I'm a Daughter of Cloud man, so OF COURSE I appreciate the Feminine Effects love. But I could appreciate love for any track on that album, really.

Feminine Effects got me thinking though... how much I like the version of that song where Kevin sings it instead of Rebecca. Even though Rebecca is AMAZING, of course.
And that got me thinking how much in general I like the versions of Rebecca's songs that Kevin does. Raindrop in My Skull from the San Fransisco Swedish American Hall show is awesome.

And that got me to wondering if everybody has heard this. It should have been on my list. I love this song so, so much.

Kevin covers a Nina Barnes song

but the discography is so limited...maybe we should wait for Of Montreal to release more albums first so we have more songs to choose from

uh ok really if we're doing 10 and not counting anything off the new album (because Chaos Arpeggiating, Trashed Exes, and Sport/Pastime sound fucking insane).

    In no order:
    1. No Conclusion
    2. Spiteful Intervention
    3. Godly Intersex
    4. Virgillian Lots
    5. Wintered Debts
    6. We Were Born the Mutants Again With Leafling
    7. Faberge Falls for Shuggie
    8. Triumph of Disintegration
    9. Slave Translator
    10. Plastis Wafers

There's a lot of Hissing Fauna songs I'd put on them but I've wore that disc OUT, and Skeletal Lamping is hard for me to single out because I rarely listen to the songs individually, it's really one piece to me.
