Default When I Was an Ice Skater Release Thread

    Listen to it Here: http://neseygallons.bandcamp.com/
Pretty excited to give it a spin.
Who knew that there would actually be a hell, and that it would be in New Jersey?

i agree, I really would love to see this being pressed on vinyl. Take preorders so you have exact numbers, all that.

I have an ice skater in my ballet class.
I know damage is spelled damage but I got too creative trying to utilize dame in brain dame age.

I must say I preferred the original mix of i remember eyes, felt like something was lacking when I heard this version; that is quite literally the only fault I have of the album; it's beautiful. is this the end of nesey gallons now? whatever happens, thanks so much for the music.

Also, I just finished listening to the album...
This truly is great. I love it, I do hope to see this physically released. I can't stop listening to Outer Space

    hello, thanks for listening folks.
maybe someday a label will show interest in the album and there'll be vinyl, but right now i just dont have the money, or space in my apartment to keep it! remember, its a double record, so even if i found a place that would do a micro-pressing, like 30 copies, itd be extremely expensive cos theyd have to make plates (all the most expensive parts of record pressing) for 2 separate records. i feel like id probably have to charge some dreadfully exorbitant amount to justify making the things. the cd on the other hand is cheap yet tangible. something to sell on tour. its not ideal, but at this point im just happy to share the recordings and begin to turn my attention to new projects. i trust that if its a good record and well loved that one day it will see a vinyl release.

thanks for the invitation ellert! i really appreciate it. i dont drink like i used to, so itll be a piece of cake to defeat king bowser! i have every intention of getting out and playing a bunch of shows in 2013. and definitely a bunch in new england.

as for the end of nesey gallons, im not sure. theres a soundtrack for that movie coming along very soon and i am presently writing another album. "ice skater" is definitely the conclusion of a certain era, and some obnoxious part of me really wanted to mark it by not making anymore nesey gallons records. maybe make up a silly band name for future music. i dont know. in the end ill probably just stick with nesey gallons cos of $$$. not that i make money now, but its better to keep with what anybodys heard of. just ask andy from denver!

I noticed on your blogspot to email you if we're interested for you to play in our town for 2013. Does there have to be a certain amount of interest generated?
