    3. For Stars - Field of Fire
    4. Sarcastic Dharma Society - Sannyasi

The Hollies - The Air I Breathe

I believe that many people lump this song under Soft Rock ala Air Supply, and they're not far off, aesthetically.

Lou Christie - Lightning Strikes Me Again

More than once was I looked at with crossed eyes of confusion when excited to hear this come on the radio. One of my favorite songs of all time.

Nick Lowe - Cruel To be Kind

I know most people like this song. But I love it endlessly. It's so timeless.

Mathew Wilder - Break My Stride

Probably my guiltiest of pleasures. I'm a dork for 80's pop radio.

    Little River Band - Reminiscing

Again, I think most who know this song would say its a good song, but in my house all things stop when this comes on. Nostalgia to remove the clogging nuisance of do, and replace it with memories of being a kid in the late 70s early 80s

The Beatles - Octopus's Garden. It (along with other songs penned by Ringo) seems to get lampooned as on a lower level than the Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison tracks, but it's tied with "You Never Give Me Your Money" for my favorite song on Abbey Road.

The Who - You Better, You Bet. I'm generally anti-post 70's Who, but this is so catchy.

XTC - Dear God. A lot of fans (and Andy Partidge, I think) say its their worst song, but it's what turned me on to them, and I still love it.

I don't remember which new wave band did it, but that song "Mexican Radio." It's so goofy.

Everclear - Santa Monica. I don't really know why.

Any five Avril Lavigne songs that aren't off of her new album.
I envision a utopian society where everyone shuts their lips, does the Helen Keller and talks with their hips.
