First setlist *SPOILERS*
We Will Commit Wolf Murder
Stag to the Stable
It's Different For Girls
A Sport and a Pastime
Du Og Meg
Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider
The Party's Crashing Us
Suffer for Fashion
This is the setlist according to setlist.fm. It almost seems to good to be true, but if it was a fake, I'm sure they would've went further. Gratuitous at the start and finish makes me wonder if it's medley style again - I'd gladly take that, the medley sets have so much energy.
The further we get from the album release the more certain it becomes that we won't see Chaos Arpeggiating live. What a shame
Never thought in a million years we'd be seeing Paralytic stuff again. I wish he'd trot out the B-side of it a little more but I'm so glad to have those two songs back. Big ups for Du Og Meg and Enemy Gene! Somewhat relieved to see the Hissing Fauna song count go from avg of 5-7 a show to 2. This might not be the best news for 90% of the crowd, but after 20+ shows I'm not sure I NEED to see Heimdalsgate/Rejecter again. Kinda wish some of the spicier Skeletal Lamping stuff came out but we'll see how it evolves.
Set list from last night in New Orleans.
oh shit guess i gotta buy a ticket now, that's amazing in Christina World
he doesn't even look like a kyle
Ho. Ly. Shit!!! I randomly bought a ticket to see them Easter Sunday!!! Very very excited now!!!
who's opening for them? i can't figure it out
For those of you who have seen it already, how do you feel this tour compares with previous ones?
I saw them last night in San Diego and I thought that the setlist was great, but this tour and the fall Innocence Reaches tour both felt a lot more disconnected and impersonal than other shows I've seen over the years. It just seems like a lot less audience interaction (from both band members and the on-stage performers) and more phoned-in.
i'm usually a sarcastic lil bitch but i won't be for the below
i've see of Montreal 10 times and i don't think there was ever all that much audience interaction. i just saw them tonight in LA and i do think there were fewer actors onstage but kevin seemed happy and like he was having fun. no feathers for some reason, wonder if it's about the venue. but i didn't really care that they toned it down because the setlist was so amazing?? i've been complaining about it for ages but finally kevin put on a setlist that had songs from every post-satanic album. he also did Du Og Meg which is secretly my favorite oM song and i never ever expected to see it live so i was really happy and flipped out. setlist is below, my excitement for certain songs clearly denoted.
