Default music video for Little King

Hey, guys! Our friend Fredrick sent us this great video he made for Little King.

    Watch it here: http://vimeo.com/7302983

    I know. I can't believe it, either.
It's five months after the release of Modern Silence, but dammit, we have a video, and it's really good. Fredrick (nationaldinonaut.com) hand-drew just about every frame

The plot: the members of Casper & the Cookies are involved in some Scooby Doo-esque mischief with a healthy dollop of technicolor glam style. An underage kid with a fake ID is turned away at the club where Casper & the Cookies are playing that night. Meanwhile, Jason, Kay, & Jim are on their way to the gig. Suddenly, the van is are run off the road by an evil robot and driven off a cliff onto some elevated train tracks, whereupon they are chased by a haunted train. I won't tell you the rest, but there is a frog prince and another chase scene. And the Cookies' super-powers come from their fake eyelashes.

The background is stocked with characters familiar to anyone who has attended an Athens Popfest-- thrown every summer by HHBTM records. In fact, it appears Fredrick has cast HHBTM label head Mike Turner as the villain. Also, there's a guy running around the video who looks like Frank Zappa.

It's like someone asked me what my all-time favorite video would look like, yanked it straight out of my imagination, and slapped it on a hard drive. But better.

AND TO CELEBRATE (or is it just coincidence?)...

CATC's website, CasperFandango.com, has lowered the price of the double vinyl release of Modern Silence to $15 plus shipping, good from now through November 2009.

At the 2:17 minute it looks like there's quite a few E6-ers drawn in. Bill Doss, Robert Schneider and Beeps for sure. Frank Zappa as well?
