Hey Folks,
plenty of news, most of it is preorders and special deals, but here
are the one line blurbs. The Smittens have finished their new album,
and it should be coming out in late spring 2008. Bunnygrunt are
working on their next record for a 2008 release. Bearsuit OH:IO is
at the pressing plant. Casper & the Cookies are back home from tour
and are about to start working on their new album to be released in
mid 2008. The Love Letter Band / Bad Weather California will be
releasing a new record as well in 2008. M Coast has parted ways and
it seems Andy will either be going by Andy from Denver or
Marshmallow Coast again, while Derek, Emily, and Carlton are working
on a new band that has yet to be named. The Lolligags are going back
into Bel Air Studio to record another EP this winter. Cars Can Be
Blue will be recording a new album in January with a big tour to
follow. Keith John Adams will be touring the states this spring, so
if you want him to play your town and can help set up a show, please
email me soon, as we are about to start booking the tour. Fishboy
and Eux Autres are doing some shows together (dates below). We are
also putting together the 5th and final physical volume of the HHBTM
Vol CD comp series. That is not to say the series will be done with,
it's just going to be digital only after volume 5.
HHBTM SINGLES CLUB
All subscribers should have their singles by now or shortly, all the
clubs have been mailed out. Tullycraft / Smittens single is going
into the plant first week of December with Velcro Stars / Keith John
Adams following soon after. The goal is to ship five singles in the
next mail out which should happen in March or April. Due to people
putting holds on clubs, but never paying we recently had more
subscriptions to the singles club open up. So you can still join,
but there are not many left.
FISHBOY PREORDER
The preorder for Fishboy's Albatross was delayed due to problems in
printing the Comic book, however things look to be okay now, and we
should be shipping them by the end of the week.
Cars Can Be Blue VIDEO CONTEST
Cars Can Be Blue have a new song on their myspace titled "Doctor".
HHBTM would like all the Cars Can Be Blue fans to get out your home
video camera and send in a video of yourself or your friends lip
syncing the song. We are going to compile bits and pieces of your
videos to make the first of many videos off their new album coming
in early 2008. You will receive a special edition lathe cut single
by cars can be blue for sending in a video, the single will ship
when the new album comes out in mid spring 2008. There will only be
as many 7" lathe cuts made as video submissions we get in. Videos
should be mailed in on a DVD-R in AVI format to HHBTM CCBB Video
P.O.Box 742, Athens, GA 30603. The deadline for the video submission
is Jan 31st, 2008. By sending in a video you are granting HHBTM
the rights to use it for promotional and commercial purposes
pertaining to the song "Doctor" by Cars Can Be Blue. Please go to
their myspace www.myspace.com/carscanbeblue to download and check
out the song.
Eux Autres COLD CITY PREORDER
One of the newest members of the HHBTM family Eux Autres has their
sophmore record "Cold City" coming out on Dec 4th. To celebrate their
signing to HHBTM, and to kick off their record in a big way we are
doing a massive preorder. When You preorder the new album you will
receive the new album "Cold City", a cdr with two bonus tracks, a
button, a Christmas card made by the band and it will all be housed
in a Christmas stocking made by yours truly , Becky Brooks of Cars
Can be Blue, and Leslie Dallion of the Lolligags. This preorder is
$15.00, and limited to 40 copies.
Keith John Adams UNCLEVER PREORDER
The most intense preorder to date will be the Keith John
Adams "Unclever" preorder. Keith will be recording 40 songs for the
first 40 people to preorder the Unclever album which hits in January
2008. You will receive a copy of Keith's new album "Unclever", a cdr
with your personal song, and a button. This preorder is a bit
pricey, but hey, you will get your own song. This preorder is
$25.00. rules below.
1. Keith will need the following from you. a. your full name b. a
funny
story that happened to you.
2. we will need your mailing address and email address (which Keith
will send you a yousendit file of your song as he finishes it).
3. Songs will between one to two minutes long.
4. Songs will be Keith solo, and will be just vocals, guitar,
ukelele, toy piano, keyboard, or whatever instrument Keith feels
like using at the time.
5. Keith will only spend one day writing, recording, and mixing your
song.
6. Your song will appear on a CDR which each person who special
orders will receive, and your song will be featured on one of six
blogs the week of the album release in January.
Bearsuit OH:IO PREORDER
Bearsuit OH:IO PREORDER will be limited to only 50 copies. Those who
preorder OH:IO from HHBTM will get the US version of OH:IO that has
different artwork. You will also get a picture disc 7" of "More
Soul Than a Wigan Casino" which we bought from their UK label
Fantastic Plastic, and you will get a Bearsuit 1 1/4" button. (the
preorder version is $15.00)

items are now back in stock for a short period of time. Most of
