huh. i always wonder how this kind of thing happens. i think i remember Robert Schneider in an interview saying one of their friends works for an ad company and used some apples songs, so is that what happened here? because somehow i dont imagine beulah as being an obvious choice for something like target.

saw/heard last night..not really weird...weird is that a band as accessible as Beulah is virtually unknown.

i saw it tonight. i have always been a fan of target commercials.
do you know who sang the cover of hello/goodbye on that one target ad? it's the only cover (of that song) that i find enjoyable.

According to Wikipedia, Sophia Shorai sings Hello Goodbye in the Target commercials:
"In early 2007, a television commercial for the Target Corporation used a cover of "Hello, Goodbye" by American singer Sophia Shorai that aired during the 2007 Academy Awards"

I just saw another target commercial last night and in this one the song "Go" by the Apples in Stereo was used.
Target is hitting up the elephant 6 something fierce.

at least target makes good commercials. and is clean and stuff. i like target. they have cops there, and they are nice to me. They aren't real police though. They just say hi to you when you walk in and smile a lot.

I remember hearing this while I was working in a hospital as a nursing assistant. Working with people mostly over 75 all day at my super crappy depressing job, and then hearing something I actually knew and liked? Wild. It made my night.
