I felt like smashing my face through a plate glass window is actually a yoko ono cover. I really want to find the original, but I can't find it anywhere. Oh well, maybe it will ruin it for me anyway, but I'm oh so curious.

it's on her album "Approximately Infinite Universe".

The original version is wonderful. In fact, it's hard to say which version is better. OM pulled off quite a feat in executing such a faithful cover version that stands up so well against the original. The album "Approximately Infinite Universe" is excellent. It's a double, and even though a lot of the lyrics are very feminist (not that there's anything wrong with that) it rarely feels preachy. I'd recommend it, but not before I'd recommend Yoko's Plastic Ono Band album or Fly. (Those two are classic, but they're also the abrasive stuff she's best known for. If you find it hard to take for three minutes, you may just love it after twenty.)
Yoko heard the OM version and sent Kevin a postcard saying thank you. He had it on his refridgerator back in the house in the country.
Hey, PBM, what other Yoko covers are you talkin' 'bout?
