yeah same here, The Albemarle Sound is great but so damn short. I really need to listen to some more of their music.

I also just recently started listening to The Ladybug Transistor. It's perfect. Like Belle & Sebastian, but more demanding and intricate. And I love the singers Merritt-like croon.

They're more like "friends of E6," but several members are in the Essex Green, who have released on Elephant 6.

I really like "Arblemarle Sound" better than the other one that I've heard. But really, any one of their albums is a good choice

definately give "argyle heir" a listen as well...perfect continuation of "albermarle sound" and just as good imho.

I always find that Arblemarle Sound is perfect going-to-bed music.

I got the self-titled a few weeks ago and absolutey loved it. It's perhaps the most peaceful band I've every heard, or at least one of the most. I just got Argyle Heir and like what I hear so far. From what I've read, I should pick up Arblemarle too *adds onto the list*

i'm in the process of falling in love with this band's Bacharach like whimsy and wit. Such pretty songs. Definately a feeling of B&S mixed with Merrit and a touch of 70's schmooz for good measure. All good stuff.

There should be an EP this year and an album following.
