Yeah me too.
Of Montreal are my major thing at the moment - and quite possibly the first e6 related band I ever heard - but Beulah were my big passion for a while back around the end of the last century.
I was at the gig that the writer mentions at the start of the piece and my friend Andy has added a comment about our experience.

Oh, and one more thing.
The students from Wales mentioned in the article, who we got talking to at the show, were all from a tiny place called Resolven. They were all massive crazy Beulah fans and organised a bus to take about thirty of them to Oxford (a fairly long trip) to see the band.
They must have got to know the band and Miles wrote the song 'Hello Resolven' which opens the Coast album, as a kind of tribute. I think Beulah also played in a church hall in Resolven for them - one of maybe four or five UK gigs they ever did!
