Is this good or bad for country music? Will you grow a heart from listening to country music, or is country music for the heartless?

I dont see the previous at all. the line follows "all you need is a gun and a car," so, i think, an interpretation, take your gun, get in your car, go to you last stand (emma's last stand). If you can't, if you have fear, listen to a country song, and it will push you over that edge because country songs are depressing. The pushing over the edge being reaching a state of depression that simply allows you to say fuck it.

I don't really like to spend much time trying to find any sort of narratives in songs, unless they are clearly written as stories, but that's an insightful comment, Birdman.
