Here's my weekly plug about a show here in town...
Ladybug Transistor will be playing with Marshmallow Coast at Lamar's on Nov. 18th..
That's right... its two of the best bands on one bill!!! Drive down from Nashville.. Drive up from Atlanta..
DO IT!
:)

Man I really wish that I could see Marshmallow Coast soon. Will you do me a favor and tell Andy that his new album is the best he has made and one of the best that i bought this year. And that he should really consider going out on a tour to support it soon, because i am dying to hear these songs live and watch Andy play music again. You can tell him i am from the Minneapolis area. Thanks!!

how was the show?
i couldnt make it to the nashville show due to an enormous amount of homework that i had been putting off. one of my friends went and said that they were great!

well, marshmallow coast didn't show.. But that was okay, because the fabulous Laundromatics were ready to play..
Ladybug Transistor was great.. I have to admit they are another e6 band I haven't really had the chance to buy any of their stuff, but I will definetly be making some purchases in the near future.. There are just so many good bands out there..
The show was awesome..
The next show in Chattaboogie will be American Analog Set on Dec. 13th!!! We have to pay that band a lot of money so we would appreciate any of the support we can get!!

The Essex Green record is superb.. I love it.. I'm so addicted to it.. I've been listening to it for a few months now off and on...
I will definetly purchase some Ladybug soon.. I've got a bazillion other albums to buy as well..

my personal fave is still albermarle sound. argyle heir is great. the new one isn't as solid.

They played mostly new songs, and I wasn't really impressed with them which was disappointing to me.

you know, it took me a few weeks, but something finally clicked, and now i'm pretty sure i think their new album is the best one they've made so far. argyle heir and albemarle sound both have great songs, but each one has a few songs i dont really care about. i love every song on the new album. i'll agree, the production on it is a little wierd for them, but it's the first one they've recorded at someone elses studio(wavelab, here in arizona. -sigh- if i had only known). this is definitely the first ladybug transistor album sasha has had good songs on.
