What ever became of the box?? [Archive]

Does anyone here remember the box that was sent around? People were putting in music and poetry, stories, etc....the last time I saw it was when I handed it to the Paglias...Just wondering what became of it after that...

I started the box! I was actually just thinking about that last night and how I'll never see it again because I've moved four times since I sent it out and I don't have the same email address that's listed in the box. I had thought that everyone else who was involved had gotten tired of e6 and moved on two boards ago. (I know my musical tastes have certainly changed and I don't check here as often as I should.) It's great to hear that there's still an old schooler out there, but it's depressing to think that one of my few good ideas is languishing in someone's closet out there, gathering dust and becoming more obsolete with every one of my increasingly more frequent address changes.

It's sad to think that the box is lost forever...and there are only a few people here that might remember it's existence...There was also a 4-track tape going around that I never got my hands on!...

Anyone have suggestions for rules of sorts? Maybe each person should include a photo of themselves with like a name and date on the back or something. Also, do you think a shoebox would work alright?

Also, I think it would be a good idea if we refrained from adding overly-heavy items to the box (to avoid exorbitant shipping prices). So that rules out all your anchors, lead weights, boulders etc.

We should also include a map. That way when someone gets the box they can mark down on the map where it traveled to.
Then when we finish someone can post a picture of the map and we can all look at the box’s journey across the land.

Also, I propose that as well as a map, we should also draw a line from the previous point to our point, that way we have this line that shows "okay, the box came from NC to FL, then it went to TX, etc."
