"Yeah Yeah Yeah" on Conan

Hey. I wanted to post this right after I saw it, but e6townhall was down all day...

Last night (Friday) on Conan, there was a parody iPhone commercial, and "Yeah Yeah Yeah" by the Minders was playing in the background of the commercial.

I've always been surprised that of the longer-lasting E6 bands the Minders never achieved noteriaty... to me it seems like their sound would be more palitable to the average person then Of Montreal or even the Apples in Stereo (I of course don't mean to disparage other band's sound, just people at large).

I felt kind of down about the whole thing when I saw the Minders open up for Of Montreal in front of their new audience a few months ago. I can't put my finger on it, but it was kind of sad.

i was at that show at theat 40 watt. i thought it was awesome, but i had neevr seen them before. i just got deadends on vinyl and it *rocks*. i enjoyed their set more that of montreal's. yay :)
