great interview, i will be in NYC the 1st through the 5th, is there anything e6 or heather mcIntosh related going on then?

In the interview she says, "I have been playing with a couple of sort of art groups here in the city as well. One is called the Oratai Ensemble, which recently played at the Brooklyn academy of music and another small ensemble I think just got named after some kind of cough syrup. That group will be sitting in with me at the Cake Shop on Feb 2nd."

I went to The Cake Shop's website, and what they've got listed is a Summer Hymns/Folklore show. Soooo....either way, good music, and you should go!

i think i saved both instruments albums in my cart and never actually finished checking out

I liked the way the interview turned out as well, and I recommend that everyone pick up "Cast a Half Shadow."

Also, this is great: "I will work on a sliding scale, so if you're broke you can still have cello in your life." That is amazing! If my band was ready to record I would totally be up for that.
