what's the matter with the website?

when i go to the of montreal site i just get a white page with the address "whatthephuk.com" in the top-left corner. i type this address into the browser and it takes me to an identical page. has our beloved band's website been hacked? oh dear.:(

that's so uncool.. Why do hackers do things like that? Maybe it wasn't a hacker, but it sure does look like something a hacker would do...

They may not even know there's a problem. Now I cannot connect at all. I don't get the white page with the whatthephuck.com url on it, so maybe someone's working on it.

yes, i just got a regular old errorish page, so maybe it's being sorted out... who would do such a hateful hackful thing to such nice people?

i just discovered this problem myself. (not keeping an eye on the old board as often as i used to) not sure what's going on, but i'll sort it out.

okie doke....

everything's ok again...

it wasn't a hack. the server dude made a mistake and overwrote a file he shouldn't have while adding another website to the server. on thursday all of the websites poited to 'whatthephuk.com' for a little while. when he rewrote the entries for all the websites on the server, he mistakenly entered 'ofmontreal.com' and not 'ofmontreal.net'.

so there ya go!
everything's hunky dory again!
