View Full Version : wallabees
i'm thinking of buying some wallabees. has anyone had a pair before? if so, how do you like them?
do indie kids where them? i hope not.
yeah! i didn't read that whole article before, but i guess they're pretty hip if james iha & harmony korine wear them. i was interested in them because of the ghostface killah connection, but not so much anymore.

the gummo soundtrack rules
there was also this oz episode about this eastern european guy who was doing time for smashing a statue and eventually ended up killing a few inmates and himself after they stole his wallabees on the basketball court.

was the first thing that came to mind
That was the movie my friend wouldn't stop talking about after she saw it. It's about a bunch of freaks, really. I guess it's bad but kind of good at the same time. Chloe Sevigny is in it, but of course.
but yeah, piss catchers are pretty hot.
UPDATE:
i purchased a pair of light brown high top wallabees.

gumo is fucking incredible. Its not at all about bad people. Its about stagnant life and the effect that tornados have on buttfuck nowhere. Its beautiful in the horrible honest truth type of way where fathers molest their daughters, guys dress as girls, kids sniff glue and put glass in tuna fish to kill cats to give to the supermarket. Also, it has the bunny kid in it. i think i might be the bunny kid for halloween next year. beautifully grotesque.

Don't you live in Miami? Do you need warm shoes down there?
Also: am I creepy for remembering where you lived?
yeah, i live in miami (five blocks from calle ocho according to my profile). no, i don't need warm shoes where i live, but i'm (hopefully) going to need them when i go to college next year. also, i wear black jeans every day, so i'm used to suffering in order to look good. i actually feel more comfortable wearing "cold-weather" clothing...
one of my friends wears knit-hats everywhere he goes, so i'm not a unique case...
