I've listened to New Magnetic Wonder a handfull of times and I can't pin down where any of the guests are, aside from assuming that some piano parts are Bill Doss.
Anyone have any leads on where the guests are?
Also.. (in case anyone complains)
If it irritates you that I'm trying to hear the guest musicians on an Apples in Stereo record, why, might I ask, did you click on the thread? To teach me a lesson?

yes, i can hear bill doss during various vocal portions of the album too.
i got this just from listening myself:
the beginning of "Sun is out" is presumably at least one of the weird toys played by Zach Shaw. that song also contains the plastic whistle by Will Hart.
there is cowbell on "Sunday Sounds" and Per Ole's contributions are most likely on one or both of Hilarie's songs.
backwards poetry by Will Hart at the beginning of "Open Eyes"
"Pre-Crimson" is were most (if not all?) of the electronic business is being conducted, and probably some echoplex and maybe the lap steel as well.
the first half of "Beautiful Machine Parts 3-4" has one of the horn instruments in it, which i assume is the euphonium by Pete Fitzpatrick.
but i know for certain that Tony Miller (of The Melody Function and Ideal Free Distribution) sings some of the backing vocals on "Radiation"
and Craig Morris (of the Ideal Free Distribution and Thee American Revolution) plays the fuzz bass on "Sunndal Song".
