hey kids

i thought it would be cool to trade mix tapes/cds! anyone interested?

i like lots of music. obviously elephant 6 stuff (apples in stereo, of montreal, the late b.p. helium, elf power, neutral milk hotel, great lakes, beulah), late 60s brit pop rock music, dancy stuff from brazil, pretty much anything on k records..

i'd be interested in the music listed above but i'd really REALLY like to hear differant music. hopefully local music from your area too!

SEND ME A MESSAGE and i'll trade peoples names around, sound good? oh yes i think so!

I'll put together a mix CD of dance rock stuff methinks. Featuring CSS and Panico (only 2 south american bands i really like)

The only way is to modernize and make mix .zip files instead. Good Lord.

i lack internet in the home, thats why mix tapes in solid form are more better. but if you wanna make a happy zip file you totally should!

who's got teh fuxking time. Mix tapes are shot anyway, aren't they. Mostly bogged down with songs that the compiler wants you to think they listen to, as to appear enlightened...It's like no man. Get that peice of shit Karl Blau song of my CD. It's crappers.

the mixtape is just as much about the physical document (art, liners, etc) as the music on it

but whatever, i'm sure your partner will be happy to get that ysi link!

Are all the people from the E6 forum included in this? I sent my info to quixoticgoat in a U2U a few days after the idea came about in the E6 forum. I just want to make sure that it is all the same trading list.

havingnoidea,

I received my person yesterday....which seems to imply that the trade (AKA mixtape preservation society: round 5, yes, that will be the only title for e6townhall tape trading (in my opinion of course)) is in affect. I would contact quixoticgoat pronto for the full details.

I'm also in. I'd love to hear some new music.
