hey, i don't want to shamelessly self promote myself, so ill make it really quick. i just put out a record, its a 7" that is also available on cd, im excited about it.

ive bee non the board for a long time, i figured id just post it to see if anyone was interested. my group is called imadethismistake, i get comparisons to the mountain goats, animal collective, and leonard cohen.

Yeah this is great, I'm conisdering that neat little 3 cd deal you have on your myspace. The comparisons ring true but you definitely have a unique (and a good) style. I'm not generally one for emo over/undertones (screaming/shouting repetitive phrases) But you make it blend well and it's not offensive aurally. I particularly love your narration-esque singing, it makes the songs feel more intimate. Keep on making music like this :]

thanks a lot mate, i much appreciate it. id suggest getting the vinyl/cd from the place i listed, then if you like it and are interested i can send you the other two at-cost, the third cd on that 3-cd deal is going to end up being combined with the cd-format of the vinyl i believe. send me a pm and we can discuss.



and as far as the accent, i was born in country canada. i respect the fact that you don't like the music, its an acquired taste and i have no problem taking critism, but being rude about it, even as a joke, is immature.

i did the concept, but this girl andrea did it. shes phenominal, the fire she painted on different paper then pasted on to give it that feel. im so happy with it
