I'm digging the Almstead/Gonzalez split songwriting, Emily Growden's lovely vocals (especially on "Sailing Around the World"), and the song "Got 2 Get to U" in general, which is like a quirkier Steely Dan.

The album is jazzy and grooving and I'm really enjoying it.

I got my preorder awhile back, I'd say a month ago. Its really good, albeit different from Marshmallow Coast, but that's why they changed the name of the band.

I agree. Taking a look back at "Seniors and Juniors" and seeing the progression up to now is really inspiring. I enjoy both old and new material by the band, though it's really nice to see them moving in such a mature direction.

i can't believe it's taken so long for KALX (the radio station at uc berkeley) to get a copy of Say It In Slang...we just got it in a few weeks ago.

Sheesh, that is a long time. But I can say it's been a few months, and the album still sounds great.

it is damn good! and i was quick on my feet and snagged it for review, so i'm going to make sure we keep it permanently.

if the cd just reached your station it is due to your station just being added to the promo list....we try to send stuff out as we add people. mike

Aaahh, got it on my mail box today !!! and today is a sunny day !

Some songs are in the wrong order, Johnny Kasai is 11 instead of 13... but it doesn't really matter.

SHIT, this album is good !!!
