When I tried to get to the bottom of this about half a year ago, I didn't own the CD, so I didn't have anything "correct" to compare with. What I found out, though, was that not a single track listing on the web matched the MP3s, i.e. 30 second samples, like on Amazon (I checked this by comparing the lyrics to the song titles). I experienced the same with every single torrent I downloaded (tags weren't right).

I also found out that there exists different track listings on the web. On some the order of the songs and the actual song titles are changed.

I'm in a hurry and I don't have the CD available right now, so I won't be able to give a detailed explanation, but it really seems like a big problem.

Hey guys, I was going to take a closer look at this, and... yeah, why does the Gay Parade folder list 17 tracks when there's only 16? That must be the problem.

But it seems crazy. Does anyone have the answer?

If I remember correctly, the track listed on the cd named "Y The Quale And Vaguely Bird Noisily Enjoying Their Forbidden Tryst" is just the beginning (intro) of the following track which is "I'd Be A Yellow Feathered Loon".

Am I correct?

Yeah, you're right, but the problem is that it's one single track and not two, like listed. It seems like it has caused a lot of trouble with the song naming all over the web.

So... do we agree that there does not exist a track called "Y The Quale And Vaguely Bird Noisily Enjoying Their Forbidden Tryst"? It's rather just the intro of "I'd Be A Yellow Feathered Loon"?

Edit: Aha, because of the long titles, I didn't notice this until now. It seems like track eight on the CD is tagged "Y The Quale And Vaguely Bird Noisily Enjoying Their Forbidden Tryst/I'd Be A Yellow Feathered Loon". It's weird they chose to list 17 tracks anyway. :s

Ive noticed this problem too, when I put my cd in to rip, the wrong names came up. Someone screwed up when submitting to freedb. I corrected mine and resubmitted, so there should be a couple things floating around.
