I noticed the "cover" thead a bit down, but this song is too good to be buried down there.
For the love of God, cover this song! I got the 45 in the mail just a couple of days ago and have probably worn it out by now (although the mp3 turned out pretty good). It's just THE Of Montreal cover song. It has Kevin Barnes written all over it. Sort of.

Oh, the band is called The King Biscuit Entertainers, and the song is 'Stormy'. It was released in 1968 and it's fantastic. It's right up there with classics such as 'My Pal Foot Foot' and 'Lick My Love Pump'.
(OK, I'm sure that a lot of people might disagree and probably even hate the song, but what the heck. I'm a sucker for these hidden 60's pop/psych gems.)
