Hi all,

My unreleased CD, La Guerre Est Meurtre, which I finished in 2002 is now available for download at:

http://www.vonhemmling.net/LaGuerreEstMeurtre.html

(or go to vonhemmling.net and click downloads)

I'm really proud of it. It's a nonlinear linear history of VH, recorded 1984-2001. It took me well over a year to put together and another year to perfect. Some might call it a collage but I think of it as a stream of consciousness, although there is a collage portion of the last section. La Guerre features versions of my songs by the Apples (in Stereo) and the Lilys. It's a huge file, 700 MB in 6 pieces, but I'd ask anyone interested in downloading to please download the entire CD. There's a pace to it that doesn't work unless the whole thing is listened to. It's also made to be cyclical, it can be played on repeat. It's presented in WAV format to preserve the meticulous recording, an mp3 would lose precious details.

Thanks,
Jim
