Hey everyone,
Chris Parfitt was one of the founding members of The Apples in Stereo (when they were just "The Apples"), and left to form the Elephant 6 noise-rock band Vince Mole and His Calcium Orchestra.
I have an interview up with him at Optical Atlas, where he discusses both bands. MP3s are included if you'd like to sample his sound. Hope you take a gander.

I've been a long time follower of the Elephant 6 Collective, but I've never had the opportunity to hear any Vince Mole stuff. It's really great. Thanks for the heads up.

Love it Jeff! I just got in contact with chris the other day on myspace.. im gonna have a hard follow up to that interview though. Did he sendyou any of the old stuff he has laying around?

I have tryied to get you to post up in here for years.......then, you stop by to post but no u2u or coming to find me. I'm going to eat your soul.

Anyway jeff's whole site (http://www.opticalatlas.com) is pretty amazing. Lots of rare MP3s scattered in interviews and links.

BTW: check your myspace comments......I got tickets to a show on THUR. the 21st I think you would enjoy.
