NO DAMNIT I MEANT A LIVE GIG! Not a radio show!
Just thought this up. If Jeff suddenly turned around and did 1 gig in your hometown and he took a request from you as to what to play, what would it be?
Personally I'd go with Three Peaches or the Message Sent trilogy or maybe (if he can remember it haha) Now I'm Going Down

I would want him to slit his wrists, then play Aunt Eggma Blowtorch with the blood flowing. Afterwards he could staunch the bleeding and banter weakly with the crowd. Then I would want him to play it, or at least a portion of it, again before he died.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Message Sent Trilogy. And Crazy Train. I think he would do that one well.

Message sent = Through My Tears / Goldaline / Now There Is Nothing
Its basicly a song containing 3 songs...

Exactly. You're a fucking pretentious twat, Stormx, calling it a "trilogy" when no one else does.
Oh wait, is your comeback going to be about my name? Fuck off. I start with a thoughtful contribution to this forum and all I get is shit from you. I'm gone, thanks for welcoming me.

last.fm: I know you're reading this haha. Anyway, Its a trilogy for a few reasons. Firstly, Through My Tears appears on a demo as exactly that. Only "Through My Tears", no Goldaline, no Now There Is Nothing. Goldaline is recognisable as a song part in itself because it left Message Sent and joined the later versions of Oh Comely. And finally, the mystery song on the end is known as a song because the other two are already songs, or at least song parts.
Its important to note too that althought Gardenhead / Leave Me Alone *was* two songs, it's only really been distributed split up on one occasion, and that was Gardenhead in its infancy. The two parts were always played together, so its considered one song.
The way the song parts of message sent are put together, then pulled apart in 1997, show it is a bit of an interchangable song, mainly because the last two songs share the same melody as oh sister and oh comely.

And really dude, calm down. I apologise, ok? It was a tad mean but honestly I don't think anyone else on the forum would have reacted like that.

Woohoo, let's name every trilogy we can think of! That's the funniest thing I can think of, I don't know about you.
I think the poor sap's point was that everybody just calls it "Message Sent", and calling it something unused but supposedly more official is very confusing for no reason.
Stormx
08-25-2006, 02:04 PM
I understand your point. And I don't think its more official, i just like to think of it as a trilogy...

Fair enough. And let's lay off the bastard, he made quite a fool of himself already.
I mean really, getting angry over a fucking kazoo? He obviously doesn't belong on the internet - maybe anger management instead.

I agree. No need to further hit what god has beaten enough.
But as for calling something a different word with the same meaning..

If no one knows something's a synonym, it's useless.
Also, you're an asshole.
Also, to preclude any further name-making-fun-of, I am named both after a small mp3 player and a senior member on this board. So what? It's more inventive than yours.
