I'm excited, but I really wish it were at least 40 minutes long. That's a pretty short album.

I read this topic again today. A couple times.

Each time, I get way more excited about this. I am so incredibly anxious for this. The samples sound grrrreat!

Can anyone find a place to preorder the vinyl in the US?

I went to a Beirut concert at The Empty Bottle in Chicago tonight. I enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately I had one disappointment.....no Jeremy.....he is in Denmark right now apparently. Still, I talked to Zach after the show. He was pretty sure that he will be coming back through Chicago with Jeremy, on accordion, I think. This will happen early October....venue to be announced, but maybe Empty Bottle again. So Chicagoans who are also AHAAH fans keep your eyes peeled.

As for the thread.....thank you lou2ser for all the research and hyper linking....it is appreciated by yet another person. For the vinyl, I am interested too. I was hoping to get some information about that tonight from Jeremy, but obviously it didn't happen as planned. So basically I’m useless. I do know that http://www.midheaven.com distributes Leaf records releases and specifically AHAAH albums LP/CD formats. I would e-mail them at info@midheaven.com to see if they know anything pertinent in relation to “The Way The Wind Blows” US LP pre-order.

Fare Thee Well,

Yeah, I'm sure there will be more U.S. shows in early October, the tour is still being set.

My pal butnut encoded this last night from BBC Radio 3:

A Hawk And A Hacksaw (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=106DE6D70FFF4839)

I'm gutted they're not coming to Northern Ireland on their tour. Pere Ubu aren't either ffs.
