After a little research, it seems he's been touring with them. Now if I can just catch them live (I saw them them with O'Rourke and I'd be happy to see them again) and see Preston School of Industry, I'd have seen all of Pavement without having actually seen Pavement... :P

I saw Sonic Youth on Tuesday in Toronto, and he was there. Didn't say a word. Thurston wished a happy birthday to Dustin Hoffman, but I never checked to see if it was actually his birthday. We also met half of The Go! Team at the Golden Griddle after the show. Pretty awesome.

Don't think I forgot about ol' Gary, but let's face it, if Pavement were to reunite tomorrow, Gary wouldn't be a part of it, or at most he'd be a guest percussionist for Summer Babe.

He played with them when I saw them in DC in June, but I don't think it means anything for Pavement.

he was with them when i saw them in asheville a month or so ago.

i had friends scattered through the audience and shortly after they began i had a wave of text messages all saying "THATS MARK IBOLD!"
