woo, saw Lovers (well, Carolyn) in a pub in London last night - was absolutely top! Best thing I've seen all year - she played about half an hours worth of songs, acoustically, and the version of Squid Suit was just mindblowing. Also, she played a new song that she'd written while she was in London, and this was also great.
The best bit about this, however, was that there were only (and I counted) 20 people actually there, so it was an incredibly intimate set - being 2nd highest in a bill of 4 on a Wednesday night.
I spoke to Carolyn afterwards a little, and she seemed really nice :) - would have stuck around, but I had a train to catch.
