What is the ESSENTIAL Gerbils album? Not the best album necessarily, or your favorite, but the one that everyone who wants to understand the band really ought to hear?

i'm surprised at this poll. i think that sleepy has some brilliant songs on it but every song on electricity is great and it holds together as an album very very well.

admittedly it was the songs on sleepy that ive learnt to play on my guitar...

are you sleepy is way betterrrr yo! the gutiar riffs were totally AWEOMSE DOODE and also it was more hipster lo fi. the battle of electricity is good too though..............

they both have some pretty good points. and just say lo-fi, please. hipster lo-fi sounds like a losing scenario.
