heylo there!
the late b.p. helium will be embarking on a
3 week tour this summer. for most of the shows
we will be trekking across canada with our good
friends jackandginger from toronto eastward
towards newfoundland!! this is quite possibly a once in a
lifetime journey and i'm completely stoked!
of course we will also be playing a few shows in the u.s.
as well. one will be in lexington, kentucky with my
good friend robert schneider and his band, the american revolution.
on the way home, we'll be playing with the impossible shapes.
i really dig these guys as well.
below is a constantly growing list of tour dates.
so check back frequently for additions and changes.
if you have any possible places for us to play en route,
please let us know!
hope to see you! :)

Hey! come play HERE!
I mean, if you think you can't fill Higher Ground, try someplace smaller, like the Radio Bean coffeehouse.
If ya play VT, can I open for ya? I've seen YOU play, you still haven't seen ME play, y'know. ;)

Brian:
Nova Scotia is just amazing...Halifax is fantastic. Melissa and I can tell you about the whole area. If you can play in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island...go for it...a very cool town and an really amazing island...easily driveable from Halifax. There is also a cool venue on the very east side of Nova Scotia near a town called canso...kind of a brewpub in an old two story hardware store. Caters to local musicians....ack...I could go on.

I don't think my neighbors would like it much if I had an amplified band in my house. ;)

I really want to run off to the maritimes this summer, so perhaps I'll end up in Nova Scotia while you're there. If so, beer is on me. If not, well, that's what you get for ignoring Alberta.
But yeah, Nova Scotia is pure beauty. Same with PEI. I remember feeling so peaceful and happy when I was last there. Should be a lovely tour for you.

Yay New YORK! I will try to go (if I find out more info)
Could you maybe stop in CT on your trip from Boston to NYC? I will have someone bake you cookies or something!

yeh, if worse comes to worse I'll prolly do the NY show. The bass player from my old band I had when I was in school lives in Brooklyn, & I can talk him into going (& putting me up, probably).
Hey Bry, wanna hang in Brooklyn that night? it'll save ya the hotel fee.

On tuesday nights it's a gay bar. Not that there's anything wrong with that. That's pretty much all I know about it. Anyway, I'll try my best to make it to the show.
And yeah, your logo has me tweaking out at work!

There was a weird little coffeeshop around the corner that gave free packs of anacin with the coffee; you should have had someone get you one.
it's got to suck to come all that way tho and get sick and not be able to do what you came to do.
better luck next time!
