For some reason in dreams I tend to hang out with Bryan a lot. I guess he is in my head part of my little 'posse'- you know how you have a group of friends you hang about with in dreams? often they are not even people who you knew in the same periods of your life, like a friend you had in Boogie,Iowa ten years ago knowing someone you know in a different town today, and at times they're not even people you really know, like movie characters, or folks who have died and so you can't hang out with them at all! but anyway....
when I lived in his town I almost never hung out with Bryan, so it is kinda weird I hang out with him so much in dreams. We don't ever do anything weird like fly around or play Carnegie Hall in our underwear, or any of the bizarro things people usually do in dreams; we just talk about stuff.
so anyway....in the beginning part of the dream I had I was hanging out with Bryan in the XRay cafe. some other lady was there- Clair, maybe? from Clair and Bain's Maple Yum Yum? but I'm not sure who she was because she didn't talk much so my memory of her is hazy. Bryan gave me a tape at one point, which is unusual, as usually when I see him I give him stuff, but he has never actually given me anything.
Later in the dream I was supposed to be taking finals. This part was weird too because I am not IN school right now, and in the dream I sort of knew this. The bus going around the campus was stopping in odd places and catching me out; for example once it stopped directly in front of a wall! and I had no intention of scaling the wall to get to the class so I waited for it to go around again and got out on the other side.
I took a few of the tests but then luckily I woke up because it was occurring to me I had never attended any of these classes and so had no idea where to take the other tests.
