Does anyone know how old Jeff is?

Just out of curiosity. I'm a nosey person.

Here (http://neutralmilkhotel.net/pt.html) I found that he may have been 26 in September '96, if not earlier. Third paragraph.

Does anybody know his actual birthday? I'm a student of astrology and have been trying to figure out what this guy is! So far I have my reasons to strongly believe he is a Pisces or a Capricorn.

But as of late my skills have declined. I used to be able to figure out any woman I talked to....then I meet my gf and she cast some voodoo on me so it doesn't work anymore.

You guys jump on him like this was some insane fanboy question. Unlike people who ask for his location and other strange details like that, this seems fairly legitemate. I, myself, was interested to know how old he was just to get an idea of how old he was when he began writing music and when he produced his seminal works. Things like that matter, to an extent, or at least help gain a bit more understanding of the music.

Well, for instance, do you know Ace Frehley collects German Nazi unforms. He used to get drunk and dress up like a SS and knock on Gene Simmons' door (Gene Klein, a jew from Israel) and order him to pack his things.

I do want to know to figure how his musical 'timeline' so to speak. Like how old he was when he made his first cassettes, Avery Island, etc. etc. It's not like I'm obsessed with him...really.

Candidly, I have always wondered this for the same reason, but was too afraid to ask for fear of being branded some creepy stalker.

I'd bet Pisces, though. The insane creativity, the emotional swings, the reclusive streak ... all signs point to fish.

prufrock, you summed it up perfectly! Kind of makes me wish I had said it first haha. The only thing you missed was his highly empathetic nature, which we get glimpes of when he talks about Anne Frank.

Indeed, and all those things would've been equally appliable, in my opinion, to Kurt Cobain, and he was a Pisces as well, if that's of any help at all.

Well, if you're interested in learning when he started writing songs, a simple look at the history page on Elephant6.com (http://elephant6.com/history/story.html) would point you to the fact that he started writing when he was in 9th grade so 14 or 15.
