My Oh My!

Last week at the Bowery I briefly met Mr Kevin Barnes.
Obviously I wanted a picture for the occassion.
My friend accidently pressed the video button instead of the picture one at first before taking an actual picture.

Apparently I never knew my digital camera could record sound, and after loading the mpegs into my computer this morning, I noticed I had just random footage of Kevin talking to me. Oh my god i'm going to relive this moment everyday now in joy!

God, I would hate having to watch footage of myself the first time I met Kevin back in '03. I was babbling about chocolate syrup or something. And for much longer than any sane person would.

Luckily mine was not about chocolate syrup. But I know what you mean. One time I ran into Stephen Malkmus on the street and stunned I went....and this is an exact quote "SONOFMALKKKKKKWHHHHHATTT" and he just nodded and smiled and I thought I was going to die.
I guess it beats the time I told Chris Murphy of Sloan he "is like my own personal Jesus or something" and he laughed for about 10 minutes. I don't even listen to Depeche Mode. I still dont know why I said that.

It is odd that sometimes when you meet your favorite musicians the craziest stuff just comes out of your mouth:D
