I noticed a familiar tune today on a commercial. It was driving me nuts until i figured out it was Beulah- they have a song on a new Nissan commercial. I believe it is song 2 off of "the coast..". Man- Nissan is using modest mouse and beulah right now

ps- love the new album!

Yah, I heard it a week ago and I was happy. I don't give a crap if bands I like sell their music to companies. It's their choice. It's better to hear Beulah in a car commercial then that damned "Liiiiike a rock".

...i was wondering if anyone was going to bring this up.
but they could've used a better part of the song to loop.

what part of the song did they use? what's going on in the commercial? i just want to be keen and ready incase it comes on. im highly excited about seeing it.

i think its fabulous when bands "sell out".... as long as it doesnt corrupt the music theyre making.

this all makes me want to buy a nissan. if only i could drive and/or had money....

The commercial uses the instrumental part of the beginning of "A good man is easy to kill" and with all of the ba da ba ba ba dah dah's. I don't know if they actually use any real words from the song? I've only seen it once.

apples in stereo did that thing for kolh's didn't they? was that it? i know theyre music was in the basic broadcast advertisement world somewhere, but great i cant wait to spot this nissan commercial.

the one part of advertising i dont like it when they have the actual people/superstars tell you that they use the product, thus implying you should too. it isnt even that way all the time, sometimes they just dance with the product and dont speak a damn word

I just watched School of Rock and one of the previews before the movie was for a movie called The Perfect Score (it looks stupid). Anyway, they used this same Beulah song to advertise this flick.

Saw the same preview before School of Rock. It kinda tood a second to register, and then I was like "what the?" I agree, that movie looks terrible!

I didn't see that trailer, but at least School of Rock was good!
