Coke Machine Glow

I know this is a weird name drop, but Gord Downie, the lead singer of the of candian supergroup Tragically Hip, has a couple solo records out. They are good, if a bit spotty. Not typical of the hockey game/Arena sound of the Hip, but rather very NMH. I recomend the first half of the first record, Coke Machine Glow. Its one of my guilty pleasures of the last few years. The similarities are unmistakable from the first notes.



Rock On Yall, but not in that Avril Lavigne kinda way.
