So im looking at my local concert calendar....

and i see that a certain person called Bob schneider is playing on the 18th of september at the bottleneck in lawrence, KS.

so i pose this question to you, my friends...

is this the Bob schneider, as in Robert Schneider, as in the apples in stereo?

Is this Bob Schneider, as in some dude i have never heard of before, as in some really obscure band

Is this bob schneider, as in robert Schneider, as in The Hot Chick?

sorry to dissapoint, but i think #2 would be correct. i live in austin, and bob schneider is all the rave here locally (i don't understand it). anyway, if you were to go to the show, you'd probably be in for some major dissapointment. i think he's also sandra bullock's boyfriend.

Actually, one of my friends who lives in another city almost went to the show thinking it was Robert Schnieder.. Someone told him otherwise just before he went..

Do not go and see Bob Schneider!!! I went out with some friends in Denton, Texas and we happened by a club that Bob was playing at. It was really poorly written music that was attempting to recreate John Mayer/Dave Matthews. He had a crowd out and we couldn't figure out why because the music was so half-ass, but then one of my friends pointed out that all of his fans were 18ish girls...if you pull up his website, he's got the alt-prettyboy look down (chiseled jaw, tight alt tshirt, long hair)...everything made alot more sense after that.

Dude, you sound like a hater, man. Bob Schneider (Austin's Bob Schneider) is GREAT! I'm a 33 year old woman (NOT 18, although I wish...) and he can't be bad if he's drawing an audience of 800 to the recent Cabooze, MN show. Or playing the Fillmore in San Francisco like he did last week.
