A request for OTC fans

I'm covering Hilltop Procession for the tribute comp. and I'm wanting to try something. Call me an idiot if you wish, because this probably won't work. I want to get as many people as possible to send me a sound file of themselves singing the end of the song. (you know, "la la la la la..."?) I'm not sure if what I have in mind is going to work, but it will be really cool should I succeed.

This is a really cool idea. I'll try and email you it, but my throat is currently pretty charred, and I haven't done any singing in months, and I'm a crappy singer to beign with, so I might just decide it sucks and not send it.

are you going to record your version of the song while listening to the mp3 to get the timeing right?

Oh yeah, so I forgot to respond to this. I tried but couldn't get anything good. If you want to do it, I would think it would be better to record your version and have people record over that.
