Hello,

I recorded Orlando, FL friday night. I am seeding of Montreal first right now:

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=83308

And next weekend I'll work on the B.P. Helium set and post a link to the torrent here.

hey sorry for the long pause there, i got really busy @ werk. i will do this up this weekend and post the dimeadozen link here. i need some help with the track names, i have been putting off buying late b.p. helium and decided to stop downloading after the limited amount i have already downloaded (because it's definitely worth buying, and I get lazy with that kind of stuff if it's already on the computer).

anyway, if someone already has the setlist i can seed it already tagged, otherwise ill just do what i know and try to figure out the remainder from searching lyrics pages.

stay tuned. :]

I don't have the setlist, but I know his songs pretty well (as do, probably a number of the other posters- including Bry himself!- so someone'll let you know.

how about putting it up on the gmail account so us snobs can listen to it instead of the dimeadozen snobs?

okay, here's what i propose. can i get one person who is reasonably sure they will know the track names who i can send low bitrate mp3 to just for identification purposes. then i can simultaneously share higher quality mp3 and FLAC copies ?

:] just U2U me if yer up for it anyone....

breathmint

okay the show's all mastered, tracked, and even FLAC'd. I am about to make an mp3 verison and post it somewhere online. As soon as someone gives me the track names, I'll tag and torrent the FLACs and post the URL here.

the (low bitrate mono) mp3 is at:

http://s60.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3SCQO8ODVXWCL3MQMSMQ4JXOCR

and anyone is welcome to help me identify the songs. sorry im being so an*l about tags and all but i really like to make sure tihngs get seeded properly.

:]

*waiting for the DL*
pity I'm on dialup...this'll take awhile.
Shouldn't be TOO hard to ID the setlist tho; I've always liked Bry's solo music better than the stuff he does with the other bands.

Hear that, Beep?
mr. only-makes-a-solo-recording-once-in-a-blue-moon.

I haven't finished my CD because it takes awhile for all my peeps to have time to record together, but you know all the E6 folk, so ya got no excuse. :P

drat. I waited almost two hours for the file to DL, and then it told me the file was corrupted.

What program is required to listen to a torrent file?
I signed up for dimeadozen, but as I've never listened to a torrent before my computer was unsure how to open it?

breathmint
03-12-2006, 10:02 AM
The torrent is just the file which enables you to download the audio, it is not the audio itself.

You can use any torrent app you wish, other than the newer versions of Azureus. Here's some information on where to find the right one for you:

http://btfaq.com/serve/cache/6.html

Now the audio, is FLAC (free lossless audio compressions) which is the best way to distribute a verifiable lossless quality audio with sizes reduced form that of a WAV. You can listen to it using a plugin, Winamp's is here:

http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=143614

or you can burn the FLAC directly to CD using Nero's plugin or if you dont want to pay for that, just use the free FLAC frontend app to convert the FLAC to WAV and then burn using your favorite burning software. The FLAC required binaries and a link to the frontend plugin are here:

http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html

Please Enjoy and don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have... :]

Yep, I finally found a program that let me listen to it. of course, it turned all the flac files right back into mp3s, kinda belying the whole purpose of making it into these nicer quality things you did....

sounds like a fun show. bit hurried tho. B, if you're out there somewhere reading this I wanna request you throw 'Raisa Raisa' back in your setlist because I sorely missed it.

Fun cover of the Speedy Keane song tho.

The Online Music Archive is here:

B.P. I may need you to give permission if they don't alreayd have a record of consent from you for hosting your live music. I'll PM you if that's the case. I am uploading it now and I will probably fill out the forms tomorrow or so and update here.
