so i was at work, reading wikipedia, and came across pitchfork's first installment of the best of the 1990's. I just thought it very cool for Neutral Milk Hotel's placement to jump from its placemnt in the 80's to the top 10. anyway, sort of fan boyish, but i am bored at work. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/top/90s%20%5b1999%5d/index2.shtml

Sounds typical of Pitchfork... Didn't they change their initial score of Aeroplane from a 8 to a perfect 10? Sounds like they're just trying to please all the fanboys... Don't fall for it!

Yeah, 8.7 I think it was originally. I find their revisionism really irritating.

Did anyone catch that snarky little comment in their 50 worst album covers of all time? It was regarding some Phish record, and said something along the lines of "this album is crap, but it somehow snuck onto our best of the 90s list. But we've erased it so you can't see that anymore hehehe."
Pitchfork, can't trust it. It's Bitchfork!
