it says "on marble vinyl" but then there's cd price 6.00? that's a mixed message... is it coming in both formats?

I bought this last night at the show. Beautiful gray and black marble 7" for only 5 bux! They played Voltaic Crusher too. I recorded the show, and I'll be torrenting it soon either here, or if not, I'll post a link.

One more question... seems like everywhere I look people are referring to "More Noir Blues and Tinnitus" but the seven inch I bought, as well as the sale pages here:
http://suicidesqueeze.net/order.html
https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/product_view2.asp?prodID=547
all list the song as "Noir Blues to Tinnatus." Does anyone know if the first name is just incorrect or if there are 2 different songs (I would listen to my 7" but my needle is shit right now and I don't want to destroy the beautiful marble wax)?
Thanks...

Yeah, I think it's "More Noir Blues and Tinnitus." They got it wrong on the CD case of the tour EP, too.

ummm, don't you think it's 1000 times more likely that the internet leak just got it wrong, and not the Tour CD AND the new 7" ????
I mean come on !!!! hahaha (bad arrested D joke, there).
in all seriousness, though, why do you say it's probably "more.." im just curious ?
as for now, im betting on "Noir Blues to Tinnatus" since that is how it appears on both it's official releases (which are also on 2 different labels mind you). :]

Undrum To Muted Da? Is this another new song, or is it a retitling?

no actually, it's the complete name of the a-side, i.e. :
A-side = "Voltaic Crusher / Undrum To Muted Da"
B-side = "Noir Blues to Tinnitus"

I didn't know they had it that way on the single, too. When I saw it on the CD, I figured they messed it up (because I know what "tinnitus" is, but not "tinnatus!").
Oh, and I thought "and tinnitus" referred to the sort of washes of keyboard sound in the song.

i got this today, i think mine might be messed up, about 2/3rds through the song abruptly ends however the record plays on. i turned up the volume really high and i could hear some piano playing. anyone else hear it yet? i really like it, but why is kevin writing so many sad/break upesque songs?

Hm, I commented on this in my review on my blog.
Which goes...
Of Montreal is peaking. I don't see any downward slope yet, but after listening to the last couple of singles and Sunlandic Twins, K. Barnes must be at the height of his creativity right now, so we can forgive him a little if the B-side is being simultaneously released elsewhere; for God's sake, he's been prolific enough.
Given the new directions of O.M.M.2, it's something of a surprise to find that Voltaic Crusher is old-school Of Montreal, lamenting a sour relationship instead of praising a new one. Which, of course, Mr. Barnes always did best anyway. This is upbeat Kinks-style, infectious, belied by lyrics that urge a lover to leave him. Finally he sings,
"You gave me everything till I resist/please don't lose any sleep over me/I hardly exist, I hardly exist"
And the song ends like a needle pulled off the record. Almost a minute later we become aware of Undrum to Muted Da, a piano that seems to be coming from a basement while you're sleeping in bed on the second floor. This is Bedside Drama stuff, not the twins from the sun, although it has the loose creative freedom of O.M.M.2.
The B-side, Noir Blues to Tinnitus, is the same version from the new single whose name I'm not going to bother typing again, because it makes me hurt. This is still one of the best Of Montreal tracks I've ever heard. And it offers such perfect closure--which Side A needs--that it really ought to have been the last song on Sunlandic.
Not as essential as that other single that came out this month, but get it. (Oh, and the D. Barnes artwork, on the theme of "volcano," is really, really good.)

I received mine today! I want to make a cd with all the non-lp tracks from the satanic panic and sunlandic era's, but I can't put the a-side from this single on it, since I can't rip vinyl to my computer.
has anyone yet done this and if so, would like to share it?
thanks in advance!

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought this was OOP and hard to find. Its still available from the URL at the top of this thread.
