thanks for the link. they definately have that rubber soul era beatles thing going on. a little too predictable for me but nice all the same. one of the mp3s has a shoegaze Lilys by way of 'rain' feel to it as well.

i'm a fan. they have two previous albums under the name the datsons. their first one is out of print and the other is called "see". i would definitely recommend it.

The Datsuns are the High Dials? Huh? No. I don't like the Datsuns, I liked the High Dials sample I heard though...

the high dials used to be called the datsons. they changed their name because the existence of the datsuns(from new zealand) was causing a lot of confusion.

i dont like the album because it is bland. it is very predictable and just plain old boring. i really dislike pop music made by people who aren't really eccentric, crazy, silly and child like because i find that the music really sounds contrived as if they woke up one day and said lets make some pop music. i guess thats why i like elephant 6 so much, the music sounds like it comes from within.

I like them alright. The Lovetones and Brian Jonestown Massacre are better though. Listen to them instead.
