This is a good band!

When I heard this album the first time, I had been buying up E6 and E6-affiliated albums like crazy for over two years. I had gotten to the point where I relied on the collective as my only reliable source of consistently brilliant music.

Then somehow, I bought this album, and it put me right over the edge-- I realized that it is unhealthy to immerse one's self so completely in a single musical universe.

On the other hand, a few weeks ago I dug Individualized Shirts out of my collection and put it on.

It was amazing from start to finish.

that's funny, i just put on individualized shirts last night and was having very similar thoughts. what i would give to hear news of a new pipes album.

by the way, has anyone seen any of his performances lately? have there been any new songs played and can you attest to the awesomeness?

in my humble opinion, Individualized Shirts is a better album than In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

and I want to hear Special Fanfare so bad...:(

You can buy Fanfare right here for a very reasonable $10. There are some really nice songs on it, but you can tell it's sort of a demo. I saw Pete at the OTC reunion show and asked him if something new would ever come out and he told me a short, but sad, lament about computer problems.

Does Salmon Pants ever read this stuff??
