i just downloaded itunes so i got to hear garfield and gemstones for the first time (the cd i have would only play with itunes), and i love them. a lot of his lyrics are a little too silly or "in your face" for me but everything else is fucking awesome.
so to put a point in this thread maybe we could compare him and kimya dawson. i'd choose kimya dawson but these albums make it a little closer than i previously thought.
