Hey guys and gals! If you are in the near vicinity of Chattanooga, and haven't seen one of the 5 billion posters around, you should definetly know that the Essex Green will be playing here on Tuesday Sept 9th at the always groovy Lamar's!

Opening band will be the debut of the Laundromatics!

Show up if you can!

Hey! It was great! It was an unbelievable show! The Laundromatics sounded great.. And The Essex Green were just flawless.

Colonel Corn... We need to meet one of these days.. Are you going to Songs: Ohia tonight?

I might be there... it depends on how the work day goes!

Did you do a recording? We also did one of both bands. I hope it turned out better than the Great Lakes tape...

Great! I'm not going tonight.. My hubby will be working the door. I'm too tired. I hate that I can't go, but its just too much to have two shows right in a row for me.. I'm getting old I guess! :(

Well, have fun....

Well, the essex green show is stellar for an audience recording. The songs Ohia show came out very well also as far as I can tell. I am going out of town for several days, and then will need time to master the songs ohia show to cd. I am definitely interested in trading, and will be posting back here when i get some free time to focus on this project.

Your husband was pretty cool. I gave him the cd of the show. Post back here and let me know what you think of it.

Yeah, he told me he talked to you! Thanks so much for the CD of the show.. We videoed the show, but Stacey said that it wasn't that great!

The CD sounds good.. Thanks for doing that.. I know Ladybug Transistor is coming in November, and we are hoping for a super show in October.. We'll keep you posted! Maybe next time we can meet!

Yeah, all those guys seemed pretty cool. I haven't mastered the Molina show yet, but might tonight. I have recorded a lot of these types of bands.

For being setup in the balcony, I thought the recording came out damn good.

You guys should definitely continue to get the indie rock bands, but you should also consider setting up some kind of show with 2 or three of these guys who have been doing the opening acts for these show I've been seeing. Or are they just playing somewhere else, and I don't know about it?

The songs ohia show will be a good turnout, also. I got it onto the hard drive and will make a cd tomorrow. I;ll let everyone know when I am ready to get trades going, and will post it here, and probably in the general e6 board also.

I checked out your list and there are are couple of things on there I would like. My email address is petitsmachins@comcast.net

Let's work it out there.

I record shows, and then i trade copies to those who have recorded shows, or have copies of other shows so that I can hear live music at shows I was at, or couldn't attend, because i like listening to live music. I also trade because it would be immoral and illegal to profit off of such recordings.

I don't just give them away to anyone who asks because I'm not made of money.

I accept almost anything in trade. I mean, we're talking one cheap cd-r. But there is only one recording ever made of that performance, and that is worth enough to some people to do cd trading.

I would send you a copy, but you would have to send me something, even if it's not a show. That sounds fair, doesn't it?
