I never realized that the first three Supergrass albums went platinum. I like them a lot, but it's strange to think that there are a million copies of "Should I CoCo" and that most of them are probably sitting around collecting dust.
I don't see that much creepiness in the second picture... he just looks generally english.

Yeah Supergrass were really big for a while, around the time that 'Alright' came out in the UK. I Should Coco was a number one album for quite a while, I think. One of my friends, who was about 13 at the time, was really obsessed with them (more specifically for this thread she was obsessed with Gaz Coombes) and the funny thing is I met her a few years ago for the first time in a long time and she was still obsessed with them, which I thought was quite good, I like it when things last. My boyfriend still plays his sometimes too.

^ Oh yeah, I still break out the Supergrass every summer. It's the perfect music for driving around with friends who have too much energy and not enough to do. I guess I was pretty young when they first got big and UK alternative tends not to get as big over here in the states. I do remember being 10 years old, sitting in my dad's office breakroom watching MTV and seeing a Supergrass video. If memory serves, I really enjoyed it, too.
