There is so much to like about winter. It's like one several-month-long excuse to wear warm sweaters and sip on hot tea.

That's actually how it is here too, but we've just had a few days of unseasonably warm (37 degrees) weather. Tomorrow should be in the 40's. But yes, Winter is a drag. Last year it snowed on April 20 something-th. Not just a dusting either, it cover the grass snow. I want to move somewhere warm more than I could tell you. I would miss my friends and family though.

It snowed here yesterday, which was nice because it isn't even very cold at the moment, in fact this winter seems to be really hot! (This time last year I was sleeping in bedsocks and a fleece, now its summer pyjamas, what's with that?!?)

It's far too warm. The snow melts immediately. My sweaters and tea are melting. I hate global climate change. Everybody stop driving.

the great irony, of course, is that what we refer to as 'global warming' is paradoxically going to lead to the next so-called ice age. will it happen in our lifetimes? perhaps. so all you snow-lovers will be very happy. the rest of you, i hope you will enjoy camping in my backyard.
