Hey everyone! Andy G. here
After years of trying to access this message board ( I post so infrequently that I have to make a new email address every time), I am here to bring you some groovy news.
1. the website is now marshmallowcoast.com (though none of the big search engines link to it yet).
2. the website is 27% funnier with the first page (w/ the medusa head and subsequent sounds) dedicated to Haernk.
3. from here on out on the cds we are going ot just be M. Coast, (the arshmallow will be our secret).
4. we are almost done with THE BEST album of our careers, titled "Say it in Slang", and we will post some free downloads once we are done w/ the mixing.
5. Derek Almstead wrote about 4-5 songs for the record and they are uniquely modern rock, in such a good way, and I am singing some of his, and he is singing some of mine.
6. Sara reprised her role as flute virtuoso w/ some amazingly well orchestrated and tasteful parts.
7. AAAlso Emily, Derek's wife, is singing a lot on the record and she has a mind blowing voice.
8. for the fans of my voice, I am singing about 4-5 songs, and tons of harmonies.
9. lastly, I put timesquare on the website for free down load, and you can order my new comic book, "ICE BUNNY"
10. second lastlies, I graduate nursing school this June and we will be touring in promotion of the record.

with all due respect to everyone else singing (very much looking forward to derek's songs) this is not enough. ah well. everything sounds good. i've had a long long school career so i can really appreciate how big the graduation news is. congratulations.

i was over at derek's today and he played me some songs from the
new record.

it is awesome!!

derek's songs fit so well with andy's. very complimentary.
and emily's voice (as well as derek's!) are perfect.
who knew? ;)

it's playful yet super sophisticated.
the playing is course what you would expect from andy and derek.
fantasic ;)
i hope their record gets the attention it deserves.
