Download them on Soulseek (or Kazaa, but that's harder). I don't know any website that has them...

Is there a definitive list of unreleased or rarely released NMH tracks?

Yeah, but those are all released tracks. There are some tracks that aren't listed on that, but are available in mp3 format.

a lot of the song they did that are just weird things with random noise kinda scare me... like aunt eggma blow torch. its sorta cool for what it is, but i remember an incident where i was listening to the NMH rarities mix i made and i was half asleep, and aunt eggma blow torch came on, and i got so freaked out, haha. btw freakboy, i found chocolate coffin on kazaa. but i got through my tears when i went to the E6 website, and went to one of the sites under the 'links' list, i think. my dream girl dont exist was there too. i love the live mp3s because sometimes they have clips of jeff talking. :) its usually really funny.

I wish someone could host some more Neutral Milk Hotel Live/Demo MP3s...Some people (like me) have never been able to use Soulseek properly.

Wow, I've never heard ANY of those songs. I'm a big fan of the songs Little Birds, Ferris Wheel On Fire, Oh Sister, and Bucket.

If you don't have "Sinking Ship" or "Calypso pt 1" you can get them here (http://i-rock.wackiness.org/nmh/audio/).

edit: added "Synthetic Flying Machine"

sweet marie is quite pretty, but the rest of those you mentioned are just random recorded noises and not much listening pleasure. the songs that radiophobic nate mentioned, though, is amazing. especially 'little birds'. try and find that if you haven't heard it! i have it shared on soulseek.. (and all the other songs from beauty, shortcake, hype city, and so on, plus some other demo sessions and live stuff )

Thanks to the http://i-rock.wackiness.org/nmh/audio/ person.

The first new to me Neutral Milk Hotel song I've heard in ages...excitement!

Hopefully the sashwap person will post the live shows he said he planned on doing.

Yeah, it's just that my uni who provides the net for us has blocked all ports that p2p-programs use, so I can't use Soulseek, Kazaa or anything... It sucks

Did you just read through 42 pages of threads? You have determination, I'll give you that. Although to get along around here it helps to piss on people's heads while you tell them it's just raining

It's a B-Side that Jeff played live a handful of times.

Okay, my bad. A regular song he played a handful of times. Also there's a few Jeff-made recordings of it.
